Josie and Kayla are two Nashville-based podcast hosts who grew up just ten minutes apart in New England but didn’t meet until their early twenties. Josie moved to Nashville in 2020, and Kayla made the same solo move in 2025.

Now in their 30s, they created Casting It Out to explore the unfiltered female experience. From starting over in a new city to navigating careers, friendships, awkward encounters, personal growth, and everything in between, they bring humor, honesty, and connection to every conversation. Their mission is to create a podcast where women feel heard and understood. By sharing personal stories and relatable moments, Josie and Kayla open up conversations about the highs, lows, and laugh-out-loud chaos of being a woman today.
